City Council Updates
Due to population loss, Cleveland City Council was required to reduce the number of wards from 17 to 15 before April 1, 2025. Council has voted on the new maps that will take effect Jan. 2026. For redistricting details, including the new 15 ward map, 22 versions of the map before it was finalized, the press conference on the changes, and some early ward maps.
