CLEVELAND, OH (Sept. 30, 2024)—
“From Broadview to Broadway, we have some incredible historic commercial corridors in Ward 12,” said Councilwoman Maurer, “However, they have never come back to their prior density and when I came into office I knew we would need a concentrated effort to support development and small business on these corridors.”
Improving commercial corridors is essential for fostering economic growth, enhancing community engagement, and revitalizing neighborhoods. As part of this commitment, Ward 12 Councilwoman Rebecca Maurer is dedicating the week to sharing news and events around a concentrated effort to improve commercial corridors throughout Ward 12. This includes dedicated ARPA funding being spent in partnership between Cleveland Neighborhood Progress and the three CDCs that serve Ward 12’s Historic commercial corridors (Slavic Village Development, Metro West, and Old Brooklyn CDC).
