Cleveland City Councilwoman Rebecca Maurer recognized by the Cuyahoga County ADAMHS Board for her advocacy and role in the installation of emergency naloxone cabinets in CMHA facilities.
Councilwoman Rebecca Maurer represents areas with some of the highest overdose death rates in the County. After learning that Cleveland Municipal Housing Authority (CMHA) buildings did not carry naloxone, the Councilwoman worked with community partners and CMHA to get emergency naloxone cabinets installed in CMHA facilities. The Councilwoman remains committed to destigmatizing and increasing naloxone access across Ward 12 and the City of Cleveland.
