The Public Safety Committee oversees the Cleveland Police and Fire Departments, the Emergency Medical Service and the Boxing and Wrestling Commission. In addition, it oversees the enforcement of Cleveland's traffic code, off-street parking issues, and building inspections, and all matters related to the city's Department of Public Safety.
