(Cleveland – Aug. 20, 2021) – Join Councilman Blaine Griffin on Saturday for the ribbon cutting of the newly improved and renamed “Shoppes at Buckeye” on Saturday (8/21). Along with the ribbon cutting, there’s a Ward 6 “Back to School” event at the plaza.
The Back to School event will have music, along with school supplies, hair-cuts, health screenings and more to get children ready to start school.
Councilman Griffin credits the owner, IBIS Development, of what was known as Buckeye Plaza for investing in it and the neighborhood.
"The Shoppes at Buckeye is the most important project in my real estate career,” said Adam Lubkin, president and CEO of IBIS Development. “We have spent more than $1M to revitalize this center to its former glory.
“We sincerely believe that the Buckeye area of Cleveland is destined to be a tremendous success story and The Shoppes of Buckeye is one of the catalysts to take this area to new heights. This shopping plaza is a giant win for the Buckeye community and people which we serve."
