Flower Garden Dedication in Ward 7

Councilman Basheer Jones is hosting the dedication of a flower garden marking the memories of Ward 7 residents who have died tragically through violence.

The dedication of Willson Community and Memorial Gardens is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, October 5, at Willson School, 1126 Ansel Rd.

The event includes a balloon launch and a dedication of a plaque marking the names of the deceased. Families of the deceased have been invited.
