Council has released ward maps that represent 15 wards, down from the current 17 as required under the City Charter.

Some ward lines over time:

1949 (33 wards), 1963 (33 wards), 1986 (21 wards), 1995 (21 wards), 2003 (21 wards), 2008 (21 wards), and 2010 (19 wards).

Council also encourages the public to share their thoughts, concerns, and feedback by emailing maps@clevelandcitycouncil.org, leaving a message at (216) 714-3006, or with written public comment.

Cleveland residents submitted seven (7) draft Cleveland ward maps during the process through Dave's Redistricting website. (To view them you must check the box next to "I Agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy" and then click Accept.)

Council held three community feedback sessions to hear residents' opinions and ideas about the redistricting process underway that will reduce the number of wards from 17 to 15.

Cleveland City Council recently held three community meetings (October 15-17) to discuss the upcoming ward redistricting. Members, as well as the team advising Council on redistricting, were on hand to listen to resident feedback, questions, and concerns about this process. You can re-watch the sessions on Council’s YouTube page.

Public input is still being accepted. Contact council at: maps@clevelandcitycouncil.org. Please email your redistricting questions or suggestions. You can also submit your own Cleveland ward maps. Sign up at Dave's Redistricting to create and save your own maps and send them in.

Join Cleveland City Council for Ward Redistricting Meetings!

Cleveland City Council wants to hear from you at the upcoming ward redistricting meetings. All meetings will run from 5:30 pm to 7 pm. Join the team advising the Council on redistricting to share your thoughts, concerns, and priorities.

If you can't attend in person, you can watch the sessions live on Council’s YouTube page. For more details and to RSVP, visit Council’s Facebook page.

Meetings will be held:

  • Oct. 15 at Jerry Sue Thornton Center, 2500 East 22nd St.
  • Oct. 16 at Glenville Recreation Center, 680 E. 113th St.
  • Oct. 17 at Estabrook Recreation Center, 4125 Fulton Rd.

Bring your own maps for discussion. You can also sign up at Dave's Redistricting to create your own Cleveland ward maps.
