The Council writes and passes laws that affect the day-to-day lives of people living in, working in, or visiting the city of Cleveland. Local laws can impact the lives of Clevelanders in many ways, both large and small.

Council's Legislative Search System

Legistar allows visitors to view legislation for upcoming committees and council meetings. From the Calendar page you can also sign up to be notified by email about upcoming meetings. Legistar's Legislation page includes the ability to search more than 20,000 ordinances, resolutions and communications from 2003 to the present using an ordinance number or a key word.
